More About Copper Nickel Anti-Radiation Fabric

Copper is the most reliable material of choice when shielding from radio frequencies because of its ability to absorb both magnetic and radio waves. It is also highly effective in attenuating magnetic and electrical waves.

Copper is a Germ Killer

Bacteria rely on metals like iron and calcium to get the energy they need to survive. Copper, instead, is a metal that quickly and effectively destroys bacteria. Copper and copper-containing alloys, such as bronze and brass, exhibit antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties that have been scientifically proven to continuously kill more than 99.9% of the microbes that cause infections within two hours of contact. This so called ‘contact killing’ on copper-containing metal surfaces is rapid and extremely effective, killing from ten to a hundred million bacteria per minute. More importantly, copper completely destroys the bacteria’s DNA, preventing bacteria from developing a resistance to copper. Antimicrobial copper is also safe to use and has no harmful effects on people or the environment. In fact, copper is the only solid metal touch surface to have been approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) in recognition of these antimicrobial properties.

Our Fabric is Military Grade Anti Radiation

Our fabric Reduces Electromagnetic Radiation. Effective protection specially against smart meter EMF radiation. The conductive fabric reduces radiation pollution from cell towers & cell phones.

The bag acts as a Faraday Cage.

Faraday bags are a type of Faraday cage made of flexible metallic fabric. They are typically used to block remote wiping or alteration of wireless devices recovered in criminal investigations, but may also be used by the general public to protect against data theft or to enhance digital privacy.

Electromagnetic Field

An electromagnetic field is a physical field produced by stationary, spinning or moving electrically charged particles. EMF is not a recent phenomenon from the digital world, electric and magnetic fields exist in nature. However, as the number of smartphones, tablets, laptops and many other connected devices increase, it has raised concerns about how EMF exposure might affect our health.

Electric and magnetic fields are invisible areas of energy, often referred to as radiation, that are associated with the use of electrical power. 5G cellular technology is dangerous because it emits Radio Frequency (RF) Radiation. And it does so at ultra-high frequencies and with ultra high intensity, compared to earlier technologies. The World Health Organization classified RF Radiation as a possible “carcinogenic”. Our fabric provides 34 dB of shielding at 40 GHz.

Radio Frequency Identification

Our Copper Nickel fabric is designed to help insulate you from a very particular brand of electronic pickpocketing, called RFID skimming. RFID stands for ‘radio frequency identification’. Credit cards and passports use RFID technology to allow machines to scan them from a short distance. It's this system that facilitates contactless payment and that some worry could be vulnerable to criminal manipulation.

Some users worry that a bad actor standing nearby could surreptitiously access their card's RFID function. In so-called “skimming” attacks, a thief can theoretically withdraw money from the victim’s account as they walk by in the street or wait in a store line.

electromagnetic interface

Electromagnetic interference shielding, or EMI shielding, is the process of reducing the electromagnetic field in a space by decreasing the field with barriers, or covers made of conductive or magnetic materials. EMI shielding is commonly applied to enclosures to isolate electrical devices from the outside world. Some of the benefits directly associated with EMI shielding materials include:

Over the past decades, electromagnetic radiation has become the fourth most serious source of public pollution after noise, water and air pollution, due to the advancement of electrification, and application of electromagnetic energy. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) refers to the unacceptable degradation of a system or devices due to undesirable radiation interference, and electrical signals originating elsewhere. Electrical devices may fail to operate normally when exposed to EMI, and such failures could have critical impact on highly sensitive electronic devices used for civil, commercial, military, or other sophisticated technological fields. In addition, electromagnetic waves could cause serious damage to human health, with symptoms such as insomnia, nervousness, languidness and headaches, and even diseases such as cancers, tumors, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Due to such problems caused by EMI, ultra strong and effective electromagnetic shielding composite materials need further development.

Extremely low frequency

Extremely low frequency is the International Telecommunications Union designation for electromagnetic radiation (radio waves) with frequencies from 3 to 30 Hz, and corresponding wavelengths of 100,000 to 10,000 kilometers, respectively. In atmospheric science, an alternative definition is usually given, from 3 Hz to 3 kHzIn the related magnetosphere science, the lower frequency electromagnetic oscillations (pulsations occurring below ~3 Hz) are considered to lie in the ULF range, which is thus also defined differently from the ITU radio bands.

What is Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation?

There are two types of radiation – ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation. Both are forms of electromagnetic energy, but ionizing radiation has more energy than non-ionizing radiation.

Ionizing radiation, like x-rays or gamma rays, has enough energy to cause chemical changes by breaking chemical bonds. Sources of this type of radiation can be found in hospitals, nuclear energy plants, and nuclear weapons facilities.

Non-ionizing radiationcauses molecules to vibrate, which generates heat. RF radiation is a type of non-ionizing radiation and the focus of this Guide.

RF radiation collectively refers to radio waves and microwaves and is characterized by wavelength and frequency. The frequency of each wave is measured in Hertz (Hz) – cycles per second. Kilohertz (KHz) are low frequency – 1,000 cycles per second. Megahertz (MHz) are 1 million cycles per second, and gigahertz (GHz) are at the high end – 1 billion cycles per second.

The RF and microwave parts of the electromagnetic spectrum are generally defined as that part of the spectrum where electromagnetic waves have frequencies in the range of about 3 kilohertz (3 kHz) to 300 gigahertz (300 GHz). As shown in Figure 1-A, microwave radiation has higher frequencies than radiofrequency, but the two are often grouped together.

In general, signals with longer wavelengths travel a greater distance and penetrate through and around objects better than signals with shorter wavelengths. Low frequencies have longer wavelengths. Higher frequencies have shorter wavelengths.

Frequency matters because, when it comes to the health effects, different frequencies affect humans differently. According to the FCC, frequencies between 30 and 300 megahertz appear to be the most harmful to humans because it is the range where humans absorb RF radiation most efficiently

What is Radiofrequency and Microwave radiation?

Electromagnetic radiation consists of waves of electric and magnetic energy moving together (i.e., radiating) through space at the speed of light.  Taken together, all forms of electromagnetic energy are referred to as the electromagnetic "spectrum."  Radio waves and microwaves emitted by transmitting antennas are one form of electromagnetic energy.  They are collectively referred to as "radiofrequency" or "RF" energy or radiation.  Note that the term “radiation” does not mean “radioactive.”  Often, the terms "electromagnetic field" or "radiofrequency field" are used to indicate the presence of electromagnetic or RF energy.

The RF waves emanating from an antenna are generated by the movement of electrical charges in the antenna.  Electromagnetic waves can be characterized by a wavelength and a frequency.  The wavelength is the distance covered by one complete cycle of the electromagnetic wave, while the frequency is the number of electromagnetic waves passing a given point in one second.  The frequency of an RF signal is usually expressed in terms of a unit called the "hertz" (abbreviated "Hz").  One Hz equals one cycle per second.  One megahertz MHz equals one million cycles per second.

Different forms of electromagnetic energy are categorized by their wavelengths and frequencies.  The RF part of the electromagnetic spectrum is generally defined as that part of the spectrum where electromagnetic waves have frequencies in the range of about 3 kilohertz (3 kHz) to 300 gigahertz (300 GHz).  Microwaves are a specific category of radio waves that can be loosely defined as radiofrequency energy at frequencies ranging from about 1 GHz to 30 GHz.

Copper Has Historical Roots

The idea of using copper as an antibacterial is not new. For thousands of years copper has been used to kill or inhibit the growth of bacteria and viruses. The Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Chinese and Aztecs used copper-based preparations to treat battle wounds, burns, infections, rashes, inflammation and other medical conditions. Copper was even known to speed healing. Copper vessels were used to store food and water for safe consumption. In ancient and present-day India, Ayurveda has advocated the use of drinking water from a copper vessel because copper positively charges the water and kills harmful microbes. Yet that’s not all. Copperized water is also a natural antioxidant that has countless health benefits for the body. The vast use of copper for its medicinal properties did not remain in ancient times. Its use was carried throughout the centuries, until antibiotics became available.
